Flies

Flies are constant companions of homes, food service, and livestock farming: they carry intestinal infections, landing first on waste and then on food. Against flies there are coils, sprays, mats and liquids for fumigators, and sticky ribbons.

Flies

About the pest

The house fly feeds on anything at all — from garbage bins to the dinner table — carrying the pathogens of intestinal infections on its legs and proboscis. That is why fly control is first of all a matter of sanitation: closed bins, clean drains, screens on the windows. Products cover the rest.

The fly range is the most "format-rich" of all: sticky ribbons — simple, visible interception in spaces where chemicals cannot be sprayed; sprays — a fast knockdown when flies pour in; mats and liquids for fumigators — background protection for living rooms; coils — open porches, yards, and utility areas.

For livestock facilities and summer cafes, flies are an operational problem: customer complaints, restless animals, findings from inspections. What works here is a combination of ribbons around the perimeter and sprays for peak influxes.

  • Hang the ribbons by windows and doors and above sources of odor — on the routes flies come in by.
  • Replace the ribbons as they fill up: a full ribbon stops working.
  • On porches and in yards, place the coils on the downwind side.
  • Use products strictly according to the instructions on the pack.

Worth knowing

A carrier of infections

A fly feeds both on waste and on food — on its legs it carries the pathogens of intestinal infections.

A format for each task

Ribbons are quiet interception, a spray is a fast knockdown, a fumigator is cover in a room, a coil is for outdoors.

Sanitation is half the job

Closed bins, clean drains, and window screens cut numbers just as well as products do.

The seasonal peak

Flies peak in the second half of summer; ahead of the season, retail points expand their display of formats.

Product categories

Coils

Coils

The coil covers what no other product can — open space. Within 10–15 minutes of lighting, a porch, gazebo, or cafe patio is free of mosquitoes, and one coil lasts 6 hours.

Sticky ribbons and glue traps

Sticky ribbons and glue traps

Where chemicals are entirely off-limits — at a food plant, in a kitchen, or at a childcare facility — mechanical trapping does the work: glue and a food attractant. Not a gram of active ingredient, up to 4 weeks of effectiveness, and a result visible directly on the trap.

Sprays

Sprays

A spray is the "here and now" product: the insect dies seconds after contact, and the treated surface keeps protecting for up to 4 weeks. One line covers both indoor treatment and personal protection outdoors.

Mats and liquid refills

Mats and liquid refills

A sleep-friendly format: within 10 minutes of switching on, the room is protected throughout the night — odorless and with no intervention required. One bottle lasts 45 nights, which is to say, the whole season.
