What works against bedbugs is insecticide sprays: the harborages are treated — seams, joints, frames, baseboards — and not the bed linen. The key rule is a repeat treatment after 10–14 days: products act more weakly on eggs, and the repeat covers the larvae that have hatched since, before they produce a new generation.
- Treat the harborages, not the sleeping surfaces; wash the linen at a high temperature.
- Take the bed apart: bedbugs hide in the joints and seams, and that is where the product goes.
