Deadex® Mosquito Coil

The Deadex® mosquito coil covers what no electrical device can — the open air: a porch, a gazebo, the table by the grill, a campsite. There is no outlet out there, but there are mosquitoes.

The coil works by the slow smoldering of its wood base: allethrin 0.25% is released with the smoke and drives mosquitoes, blackflies, and sand flies away from the spot where people are sitting. One coil lasts up to seven hours — that is, the whole evening.

How to use

Set the coil on a metal stand, light the tip, and let it smolder. It works in the open air and in well-ventilated spaces; place it upwind of where people are sitting.

A seasonal impulse item: country houses and gardens, camping and fishing, cafe patios. Ten coils per pack — a reserve for several outings, which is why shoppers buy it not by the piece but several packs at a time.
