About the product
A rat is smarter and warier than a mouse. It samples anything new in small amounts, watches its packmates, and if one of them dies right after eating, the whole pack stops going near that food. Bait designed for rats has to account for this behavior.
In the Alligator soft baits it is accounted for twice: special flavor additives and food flavorings make the block more appealing than the available feed, and bromadiolone's delayed action keeps the pack from connecting a member's death with the bait. So they keep taking it to the end of the program instead of abandoning it after the first casualty.
How to lay them out
Place them along walls and baseboards, behind equipment, near burrows, and on travel routes — wherever droppings, gnaw marks, or tracks are visible. Rodents move along vertical surfaces, so bait in the middle of a room will not work. Check and replenish the points for as long as the bait is being taken.
The 200 g pack is a format for sites with an established rat population: warehouses and hangars, farms, basements and utility tunnels, and the grounds around buildings.

Questions and answers
Why are Alligator soft baits for rats designed with the rat in mind?
A rat is smarter and warier than a mouse: it samples anything new in small amounts and watches its packmates, and bait designed for rats has to account for this behavior. That is why the flavor additives in Alligator baits are tuned to the rat, and together with food flavorings they make the bait more appealing than the available feed.
Why do rats abandon bait, and how do Alligator baits account for it?
A rat watches its packmates: if one of them dies right after eating, the whole pack stops going near that food. In Alligator baits the action of bromadiolone is delayed and death follows in 2–10 days, so the pack does not connect it with the bait and keeps taking the baits to the end of the baiting program instead of abandoning them after the first casualty.
How should Alligator rat baits be laid out?
Along walls and baseboards, behind equipment, near burrows, and on travel routes — wherever droppings, gnaw marks, or tracks are visible: rodents move along vertical surfaces, so bait in the middle of a room will not work. Check and replenish the points for as long as the bait is being taken.
What sites is the 200 g pack of rat baits intended for?
The 200 g pack is a format for sites with an established rat population: warehouses and hangars, farms, basements and utility tunnels, and the grounds around buildings. The bait has a mummifying effect — no decomposition odor.
What is the minimum order, and how many units per case and per pallet?
We ship wholesale from a single pallet. Pack size: 200 g pack. Per corrugated case: 50 packs. Per pallet: 40 cases (5 rows of 8).
