Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers' Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of October. It honours an industry in which results depend on the weather, timing, and many factors that can never be fully controlled.
Protecting the harvest is part of this work, and it continues after the fields have been harvested. Storage demands no less attention than harvesting itself; it is simply less visible.
